Indivisible Bemidji chose to make January 20th a Day of Service to honor the legacy of Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. An enthusiastic group gathered at the Beltrami County History Center to help repack artifacts into acid-free boxes that the center received as part of a large grant. Indivisible Bemidji also chose, on this day, not to support or celebrate the inauguration of a convicted felon. We chose, instead, to work together in service to our community.

This group took apart the old boxes and readied the for recycling.
People worked in small groups at various stations upstairs.
Removing artifacts from the old boxes and repacking into the new.
Some artifacts needed to be wrapped in new tissue paper before being placed in the new boxes.
